Attention: Vancouver Coastal Health Members - CUPE 15 to Conduct Worksite Visits Aimed at Tackling Workload

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Watch for your CUPE representatives coming to a worksite near you!

The Workload Survey results are in! The survey revealed workload issues throughout the community health sector (HSPBA and CBA) resulting in high rates of burnout. Thank-you for your thoughtful participation. We are currently compiling the results into a report which will be shared with you when ready.

In the meantime, we will be hosting a workload strategy session to release the preliminary results and hear your thoughts on how to best tackle the problem of ever-increasing workload. This session will be held on May 2 in the evening at CUPE’s BC Regional Office in Burnaby. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to Carmen Toth (ctoth@cupe.ca) by April 16.

The worksite visits are a great opportunity for you to tell us more about the workload issues you are facing in your job classification, as well as to hear more about what we have planned for the strategy session, including how you can participate.

We will be visiting each worksite below for an hour and hope you can join us on your break.
