All Aboard!
Hop on board! The Children’s Christmas Train will be leaving the station on Saturday, December 2nd and will run every 30 minutes starting at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets will be available for pick up at the union office on a first come first served basis starting Monday, November 20th. We are located at 545 West 10th Avenue, between Cambie and Ash Streets. Doors will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For our members with mobility challenges please note that the office is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. You can call the office and make arrangements for an office assistant to meet you on the ground level.

You can purchase up to two adult and four children’s tickets for a heavily subsidized fee of $5 per ticket - cash only and exact change is required. Children two years and under are free. In order to address concerns raised in previous years we are allocating tickets according to sector. Remaining tickets, if any, will be available to eligible members regardless of sector. Telephone and email reservations will not be accepted.

Remember, your ticket includes hot chocolate and a gift pack for children. To redeem your hot chocolate and child’s gift (while quantities last) please visit the CUPE Local 15 table in the Children’s Farmyard area and present your train ticket. The tickets are the only receipts that will be issued and are non-refundable.

These tickets are for CUPE Local 15 members only, their partners, and immediate children. They are subsidized by your union dues through the VMECW Society. You must pick up the tickets in person and proof of Local 15 member is required. Please bring photo identification along with your membership card or pay statement. Remember our staff at the union office are here to help you with your request for tickets and our “Equality Statement” and “Code of Conduct” regarding behaviour will be strictly enforced. Receipt of tickets is not an entitlement but is a bonus as a Local 15 member.
