Contemplated Job Action at Langara Postponed

We wish to advise ALL CUPE Local 15 members that job action contemplated has been postponed.

The Union has been in discussion with Mediator Debbie Cameron and our strike vote deadline has been extended until July 15, 2011.

In addition, the parties have agreed to resume mediation on Monday, June 27th and Tuesday, June 28th.

It is our hope that we will successfully complete a collective agreement that will benefit all our members at Langara College.

We will provide further information, should it be necessary to arrange another membership meeting next week following mediation.

Once again, thank you for all of your support and unity. It is another example of the membership speaking out and your voices being heard!
