Staff Representative II

CUPE Local 15 - Vancouver Municipal, Education and Community Workers is accepting applications for a full time Staff Representative II position. The person in this position must have extensive experience as a union chief negotiator and coordinating collective bargaining. The successful applicant will have proven skills in fully administering collective agreements, including grievance meetings, arbitrations and labour board hearings. Working knowledge of job evaluation plans and appeals would be an asset.

The applicant must have extensive experience in representing unions, preferably in the public sector, be able to work independently, have strong communication skills and computer proficiency. Strong record of working closely with stewards is essential. A valid BC driver’s license is required.

Conditions of employment are set out in the collective agreement between CUPE Local 15 and CEP 467-UW.
