ECU/CUPE 15 AGM

We encourage all CUPE Local 15 members to attend this important meeting to elect your Emily Carr University committee representatives. Please note that the Senate, Academic Policy & Planning and the Curriculum Planning committees’ positions will not take effect until 2012. We are hoping to have names available for when the current terms expire next year. It is very important to have CUPE representation on all of these committees and we look forward to everyone’s participation.

Agenda - Elections will be conducted for the following committees:

• Shop Stewards (unlimited Shop Stewards – 2 year term)
• Benefits Committee (2 members and 1 alternate – 2 year term)
• Education & Professional Development Committee (3 members – 2 year term)
• Occupational Health & Safety Committee (unlimited – 2 year term)
• Job Evaluation Representatives (2 members and 1 alternate – 2 year term)
• Wellness Committee (unlimited – 2 year term)
• Special Events Committee (unlimited – 2 year term)
• Site Liaisons (3 positions – 2 year term)
• Bargaining Committee (4 members plus 1 alternate)
