For progressive labour friendly candidates to get elected we need members to help get the word out. Any members who would like to be “booked off” their regular full time position to help elect our endorsed candidates should forward the following information to Sally Bankiner at CUPE Local 15 (email who will assist with arrangements.  DO NOT call the Union Office for information as they will not be able to provide it.

The information you need to email to apply is as follows:
(incomplete applications will not be considered)

  1. Your complete legal name

  2. Your employee number

  3. Your employer’s name

  4. Your worksite with that employer

  5. Your department name

  6. Your rate of hourly wages

  7. Your mobile number

  8. Your personal email address

  9. Your complete residential address

Some of the work will involve calling fellow CUPE members, knocking on doors, helping with office related tasks, or organizing and motivating volunteers. Training will be provided, so even with no previous campaign experience any Local 15 member will be able to provide vital help to this effort.  CUPE BC will be reimbursing Local 15 for your wages and benefits for all days you are booked off to provide assistance.
