Invitation To All CUPE BC Young Workers

The Young Workers Task Force is hosting a cruise during the CUPE BC Convention for all young workers (30 years old or younger). You do not have to attend the convention to join us for this special event.

The event coincides with the second night of the CUPE BC's Convention and is an excellent way to meet and mingle with other young workers from around the province.

Come out and hear what the Young Workers Task Force has b een working on and discuss issues pertaining to young workers in our union. We will be sailing on the MV Native enjoying a scenic sunset tour of the Fraser River and around Douglas Island.

The date is Thursday, April 14, 2011, boarding time is 6:30 p.m., sailing time is 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and the address is 810 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC, V3M 6B9. (A short walk from the New West Skytrain Station, next to the Paddlewheeler Pub.)
