A message from the BC Fed Young Workers' Committee - $15/hour minimum wage

Monday, September 25, 2017

The BC Federation of Labour's Young Workers' Committee has been a driving force behind the campaign for a $15 per hour minimum wage. We've collected thousands of petition signatures, connected with workers, and lobbied government. We know how important it is for all workers to have good jobs that pay fair wages.

We are so close to reaching our goal, but there is more work to do. That is why I am hoping you can join me at a Fight for $15 rally next week.

On Wednesday, September 27th, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) is hosting a rally in support of a $15 per hour minimum wage. Hundreds of young workers will be at the event, and we hope you can be there too.
