    We would like to report that the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was not approved by the membership at the meeting held on September 6, 2019. This means that the members have spoken and utilized their vote and have sent a signal to the Union and the Employer to go back to the bargaining table to negotiate a better deal for the workers at Chartwells.

    It has been brought to our attention that there is misinformation being circulated at some worksites regarding the proposed new plan for VESP. It is important that all members know the facts regarding the proposed changes.   The withdrawal fee is higher with the proposed new plan but withdrawals are unlimited and no minimum balance is required.
