Opportunity for Helping with the International Women's Day Luncheon in Surrey - Thursday, March 8

Monday, February 26, 2018

We have  an opportunity for three volunteers from Local 15 to assist with the “International Women’s Day” luncheon hosted by CUPE Metro District Council on Thursday, March 8, 2018.  This year the annual luncheon will be held in Surrey and will invite women from the local community and the women who serve them within Community Services.

If you are interested in being “booked off” (leave from work paid for by your Union) please respond asap by emailing Sally Bankiner at sbankiner@cupe15.org providing your full name, sector, home email address and cell phone number.  If there is more interest than we have volunteering opportunities, we will conduct a draw and contact you only if your name is drawn.

Deadline to express your interest by email is Monday, March 5th by 12 noon.

Due to the nature of the community you will be serving, this opportunity is open to any Local 15 member who identifies as female or as a woman.
