The Province: Lobbyist smears city staff

Lobbyist Laura Jones' latest attack on public-sector workers is full of the usual drive-by smears civic employees have come to expect as the City of Vancouver develops its annual budget.

Not satisfied with the ongoing shift of property-tax obligations away from her members' businesses and onto the citizens she pretends to speak for, Ms. Jones is now calling for the city to rip up legally binding, negotiated-in-good-faith contracts with its employees.

I wonder how Ms. Jones would feel if her employer unilaterally announced that her compensation was going to be cut?
