Summary of Changes to the COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K-12 School Settings

Friday, September 18, 2020

Please find attached below the CUPE K-12 Bulletin #28. More information can be found on the CUPE BC Schools website here: https://bcschools.cupe.ca/

The revised version of the Daily Health Assessment is also attached below. This was updated as per changes in BCCDC. Staff do not need to sign another form but to just keep this at home so they know what symptoms they need to monitor.

The documents on the link below are from and pertaining to Vancouver Coastal Health. VCH are the ones who are directing the VSB and the community with regards to any and all health issues related to COVID-19. We encourage all members to continually check into the Provincial K-12 Health & Safety website as they are updating it daily with information. We could include the CUPE BC Schools website link as well.

We continue to work with the employer to address some of the other operational issues that employees have brought to our attention, and have made progress on many fronts and will continue to advocate on their behalf with the employer.

Please remind your colleagues to provide their personal email address to CUPE Local 15  so they can receive COVID updates from us. Email addresses can be emailed to: email@cupe15.org

In solidarity,

Kathie Currie
Staff Representative
