We need your help! Complete the City of Vancouver Budget Survey

The City of Vancouver is now surveying residents and businesses on their priorities for a balanced operating budget in 2012. The online survey is your opportunity to tell Mayor Robertson and Vancouver City Council NOT to cut public services and programs to balance the budget. The preliminary report is showing a $52 million shortfall. Last year the majority of residents and businesses said they were satisfied with the quality of services provided by the City of Vancouver according to an outside polling company. In fact, 80.9% of residents and 85.6% of businesses said they are “very or somewhat satisfied” with the quality of City services.

The excellent public services and programming are a main reason why Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world to live and work. CUPE members working for the City and Park Board are an integral part of making Vancouver so great by helping deliver services to residents and businesses 24/7 year round.
