FREE Women Deliver Satellite Sessions at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch

From June 3 to 6, 2019, the Women Deliver conference is coming to Vancouver. It’s the world’s biggest conference on gender equality and the health, rights, and well-being of girls and women.

The City of Vancouver is presenting free morning, noon and evening workshops and discussions on gender equity at the Vancouver Public Library’s Central Branch at 350 West Georgia St, from June 3 to 6. These satellite sessions are a complement to the Women Deliver 2019 conference, and aim to connect the local Vancouver audience to gender equity issues. Topics include leadership, reconciliation, resilience, growing strong women and designing cities. Featured speakers and panelists are female business leaders, athletes, educators, economists, advocates, artists, journalists and politicians.

All sessions are free to attend, but require sign-up in advance. Childcare is provided free of charge and accessibility requirements reflected at all events, including sign language interpretation for noon hour and evening sessions.
